Yes, you may find upon discussion that there are further opportunities to alter the project to better suit your area of interest. Some proposals may also change after the release of the database for selection. Further there may be requirements in certain projects for specific skill sets or attributes that need to be met before the project can be assigned to a student. On occasion the discussion may even take the shape of a formal interview to ensure compatibility between the proposed project and the student.
