DM932/EF900 Postgraduate Individual Project | I am undertaking an Eng.D and I don’t choose my project from the project database; it is dictated by my research so I don’t need to do anything for project selection, correct? FAQ Direct Link | No. In the case of an Eng.D student undertaking the class your project may well be stipulated to be in-line with your Eng.D project but it must still meet the conditions of DM932 PG Individual Project. As such, the class co-ordinator and registrar must approve the project and allocate supervision. In order to do this you are required to complete a preliminary project proposal using the project database so that we may make such an approval, in the same manner as someone self-proposing a project. You should follow the same procedure as any student proposing a project or proposing one in collaboration with industry. This should be documented in the same format as those identified in the project database (link available through myplace). |
